Macbeth

For this school touring production of Macbeth, I submitted both costume and set designs, and was selected to have my set design brought to life in full.

When designing the costumes, I was inspired by the visual hierarchy of the Edwardian military. I combined these with traditional tartans to create a vision of war-torn Scotland.

I chose simplistic, industrial set design to allow for ease of use whilst touring, creating basic shapes that allowed for storytelling and fed into the school children's imagination.
